POS Mini (posmini) Privacy Policy

POS Mini is a lightweight point-of-sale app for shops and small businesses, published by the same developer as Pos Teeyai and connected to the same backend services. This policy describes what data POS Mini collects, how it is used, and how you can request deletion.

Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and authentication credentials, via Firebase Authentication, when you sign in or register a shop.
• Shop/business data: shop profile, product/category lists, tables, orders, order details, printer configuration — stored on our backend server (apipos.teeyai.in.th) and Firebase Cloud Firestore.
• Images: product photos and payment QR code images you upload, stored via Tencent Cloud Object Storage (COS).
• Device data: basic device/OS information used only for troubleshooting and to improve compatibility (e.g. printer connectivity).
• Subscription/purchase data: if you purchase the optional Pro subscription, your purchase status, product/plan identifier, and purchase/renewal dates are processed by RevenueCat and Google Play to activate your subscription. See "In-App Purchases & Subscriptions" below.

Bluetooth & Location Permission

POS Mini requests Bluetooth permissions to discover and connect to Bluetooth thermal receipt printers. On older Android versions, Bluetooth device scanning requires the device to also grant Location permission at the operating-system level; POS Mini does not collect, store, or use your precise location for any purpose — this permission exists solely because of the Android Bluetooth-scanning requirement on those OS versions.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

POS Mini offers an optional "Pro" subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited products, categories, tables, and printers. Subscriptions are purchased and billed entirely through Google Play Billing — POS Mini does not collect or process your payment card or billing details directly; that is handled by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (active/expired, plan type, renewal date) so the app can unlock the correct features on your account. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store's subscription settings on your device.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not show advertising and do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Sharing

Data is processed by our own backend server and by the following service providers acting on our behalf: Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, database), Tencent Cloud (image storage), Google Play Billing and RevenueCat (subscription purchases and status). We do not share your data with any other third party except as required by law.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account/shop is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and shop data at any time. POS Mini does not currently have a self-service in-app deletion button — to request deletion, please email us at deviotauto@gmail.com with your shop name/email used to register, and we will process the deletion of your account and associated data from our systems.

Security

Data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to your data is protected by authentication.

Children's Privacy

POS Mini is a business tool intended for shop owners and staff and is not directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page. Please check back occasionally for changes.
